Job Summary

We are in search of a seasoned and proficient Concrete Foreman specializing in road and bridge construction to oversee concrete operations on significant infrastructure initiatives, such as roadways, bridges, and culverts. The successful applicant must demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, extensive practical experience, and a comprehensive grasp of construction methodologies, material specifications, and safety protocols.

Oversee and execute critical tasks to ensure seamless project completion, including coordinating team efforts, monitoring progress, and addressing any obstacles that arise. Develop and implement strategic plans to align with organizational goals, while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to foster alignment, streamline communication, and ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process. Manage resources efficiently, allocate responsibilities appropriately, and prioritize high-impact initiatives to maximize productivity and deliver measurable results.

Oversee and manage day-to-day concrete work activities at the construction site.

Responsibilities include managing the construction of bridges, culverts, and road infrastructure to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. This role involves coordinating with engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate timely and efficient project completion while maintaining quality control throughout the construction process.

Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately understand project requirements and ensure compliance with design standards.

Responsibilities include meticulously blending, pouring, finishing, and curing concrete to achieve optimal strength and durability.

Ensure adherence to engineering standards and project specifications through rigorous quality control monitoring.

Oversee and coordinate the activities of site personnel, subcontractors, and equipment operators to ensure efficient operations.

To uphold adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Develop and organize work schedules while guaranteeing that all projects are completed on time.

Examine materials including cement, aggregates, reinforcement, and formwork to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Accurately maintain comprehensive site records and promptly provide progress updates to project managers.

Proactively diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems encountered at client locations, implementing effective solutions to restore optimal system performance and minimize operational disruptions.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is essential, and familiarity with statistical methods and research methodologies is preferred. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are necessary to work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, prior experience in [industry/field] or a related area is highly desirable.

A diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or an equivalent discipline is required for this position.

Requires a demonstrated track record of at least three to five years in a supervisory capacity as a Concrete Foreman, specifically within road construction projects.

Accomplished professionals with extensive hands-on expertise in the execution of bridge, culvert, and highway construction projects are encouraged to apply.

Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in concrete construction, including reinforcement methods, formwork systems, and finishing procedures.

Capable of performing demanding physical tasks and maintaining fitness standards required for active work environments in construction settings.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in conveying information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, along with a keen ability to compile and analyze data to produce comprehensive reports.
