Job Summary

The Sales Executive will spearhead revenue expansion throughout Lagos Island and Saba by uncovering new business prospects, cultivating robust customer relationships, and consistently achieving sales targets.

The position demands a solid grasp of building materials and adhesives, along with the skill to present and sell products persuasively. Additionally, it requires dedication to maintaining a uniform customer experience throughout the designated territory.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational coordination, and team leadership, to ensure organizational objectives are met with precision and efficiency. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to maintain high standards of productivity and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement across all departments. Manage budgets, allocate resources, and analyze financial data to support data-driven decision-making and sustainable growth. Additionally, oversee project timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while cultivating a culture of accountability and excellence within the team.

Proactively pursue and cultivate untapped sales prospects across your designated territory by leveraging a combination of in-person engagements, strategic outreach initiatives, and trusted referrals to drive revenue growth.

Promote and distribute Cor mart’s comprehensive line of adhesive solutions—including Bond (a contact adhesive), PVC Glue, Sealants, and Waterproof Powder—to a diverse network of hardware retailers, building material dealers, contractors, furniture manufacturers, and distribution partners.

Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with current clients to foster recurring revenue streams and expand account profitability.

Educate clients on proper product application and usage techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce the likelihood of complaints.

Craft and conduct engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations as needed.

Proactively finalize deals in strict adherence to the organization’s established pricing guidelines and credit protocols.

Demonstrate consistent performance by surpassing set monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators.

Perform routine market assessments to track competitors’ actions, pricing strategies, and product distribution across the assigned territory.

Ensure Cor mart products are prominently displayed and consistently available at critical retail and distribution channels throughout the designated territory.

Monitor payment statuses diligently to confirm that customers remit outstanding balances in accordance with the established credit terms.

Maintain meticulous documentation of sales activities, customer engagements, and account transactions to ensure precision and compliance with organizational standards.

Prepare and submit consistent sales reports and activity updates for the line manager on a regular basis.

Handle customer complaints with professionalism and foster timely resolutions to uphold satisfaction and trust.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role, along with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the role involves frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and additional certifications or specialized training are highly advantageous. The ability to adapt to evolving priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.

A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is strongly preferred.

Requires a minimum of two to four years of demonstrated success as a Sales Executive or in a comparable field sales capacity, ideally within the building materials, adhesives, FMCG, or industrial products sectors.
