The position
The Verification Officer is responsible for assessing and validating address verification images provided by sales and field verification agents for loan applicants, guaranteeing that all submissions adhere to the company’s verification and compliance requirements.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams to foster innovation, streamline processes, and achieve key milestones. Maintain rigorous adherence to compliance requirements, industry regulations, and internal policies while mitigating risks and addressing operational challenges. Provide leadership in project management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to drive sustainable growth and organizational success.
Examine and assess address verification images and documentation provided by sales and verification personnel to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Evaluate verification submissions submitted for approval and determine their compliance with established verification criteria, subsequently approving or rejecting them as appropriate.
Conduct thorough evaluations of verification reports published on external vendor platforms utilized by the organization to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with verification agents to furnish them with essential customer information required for conducting verification visits.
Guarantee that all verification submissions comply with GPS precision standards, landmark accuracy benchmarks, and image quality criteria.
Examine data for discrepancies or irregularities, and promptly report any concerns through the appropriate channels as needed.
Verify that all verifications are finalized within the established turnaround time (TAT).
Requirements
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in field verification, dispatch riding, or an equivalent capacity is required.
Individuals with a background in on-site validation, business operations, or comparable administrative and financial technology positions are encouraged to apply.
Strong analytical skills are required, with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies or inaccuracies in reports and visual data. The ability to meticulously review and correct errors is essential to maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Proficient in evaluating verification images to ensure they meet established criteria for GPS accuracy, identifiable landmarks, and overall image quality.
A fundamental knowledge of loan and credit verification methodologies is required.
Proficiency in communication is essential to effectively collaborate with field and sales representatives. Strong interpersonal abilities are required to ensure seamless interaction and coordination with agents in the field and sales teams.
Proficient in utilizing verification tools, dashboards, and mobile/GPS applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data collection and analysis.
Exhibits keen discernment to recognize questionable data and promptly initiates escalation when necessary.
Capable of meeting tight turnaround time (TAT) deadlines with precision and efficiency.
