Job Summary
We seek a seasoned, high-performing Sales Manager to expand our chemical and laboratory equipment business throughout Nigeria.
The successful applicant should possess a robust scientific foundation, extensive business-to-business sales expertise, and a demonstrated track record of successfully finalizing transactions within technical sectors.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties, including strategic planning and project management to drive organizational objectives forward. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and optimal performance across all departments. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and identify areas for improvement, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. Serve as a primary liaison between executive management and operational staff, fostering transparent communication and alignment with company goals. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, ethical standards, and best practices while maintaining a focus on sustainability and innovation.
Facilitate the expansion of market share for industrial chemicals, laboratory apparatus, and water treatment technologies among corporate clientele.
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within key industries, including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, oil and gas, and research sectors.
Forge and nurture enduring partnerships with procurement officers, laboratory managers, and pivotal decision-makers to foster collaboration and drive mutual success.
Craft compelling technical proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to engage and attract prospective clients.
Exceed both monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently, ensuring superior performance against established benchmarks.
Oversee field sales officers, ensuring their activities align with organizational goals, and submit periodic performance evaluations to senior leadership for review and strategic decision-making.
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, with a proven ability to lead teams effectively. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools is essential, along with strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is required, and professional certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma are highly advantageous. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific field is required.
With a preference for chemical or laboratory product supply, candidates should possess 5 to 7 years of business-to-business sales expertise.
Demonstrated expertise in chemical products, laboratory equipment, and their practical applications within industrial settings.
Accomplished negotiation, communication, and client management abilities are essential.
Demonstrates strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with prior experience using CRM software considered a valuable asset.
