The Logistics Officer/Driver will oversee the secure, timely, and dependable transportation of project personnel and assets throughout Kano State.
This role will deliver critical administrative and logistical assistance to the project team, maintaining efficient coordination of field operations while overseeing the organization and management of office supplies and inventory.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing a broad range of operational, strategic, and administrative tasks essential to organizational success. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with company objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance across departments. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement. Ensure the timely transportation of project personnel and resources to all designated sites, encompassing remote Local Government Areas (Gas) and Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) within Kano State.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, document maintenance requirements, and manage routine servicing schedules.
Responsibilities include meticulously updating and organizing all vehicle-related documentation, such as trip logbooks, mileage logs, and fuel consumption records.
Offer logistical assistance for on-site project operations by organizing, transporting, and configuring training materials and equipment as needed.
Execute essential official duties, including the secure transportation of confidential documents and materials to and from government offices and external partners.
Facilitate small-scale local procurement activities, such as soliciting and evaluating supplier quotes, and ensuring timely delivery of purchased goods.
Provide administrative assistance to the Admin team by overseeing the organization, monitoring, and maintenance of project inventory, essential supplies, and minor company assets.
