Summary

The Security Officer will be instrumental in safeguarding the company’s personnel, property, facilities, and visitors by implementing proactive monitoring measures, managing access controls, preventing incidents, and rigorously enforcing established security protocols.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including the management of daily operations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project completion, resolve challenges, and foster innovation. Monitor performance metrics to identify trends, assess outcomes, and recommend improvements. Serve as a key liaison between departments, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and seamless workflow. Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and uphold accountability. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to cultivate talent and support professional growth. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to track progress, measure success, and inform decision-making.

Monitor and control entry to company facilities, verifying that only approved personnel gain access to secured zones.

Perform scheduled patrols and comprehensive security inspections to proactively detect and mitigate potential security threats, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Maintain precise documentation of visitor logs, incident reports, and all security-related occurrences to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date records.

Handle security incidents, breaches, emergencies, and other safety concerns with promptness and effectiveness.

Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, security threats, or irregular activities to senior management promptly.

Ensure strict adherence to the organization’s established security policies, procedures, and access control measures at all times.

Support the execution of safety protocols and contribute to emergency preparedness and response planning efforts.

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to budget constraints. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards is essential, along with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required.

A Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) or its equivalent is required.

Relevant background in a security-related position would be considered beneficial.

Possesses keen observational abilities, enabling precise documentation and reporting of incidents with accuracy.

A strong sense of integrity, unwavering discipline, and superior physical fitness are essential to carry out security duties with excellence.
