Job Summary
Sow Real Estate is in search of a highly skilled architect with a keen eye for creativity, precision, and extensive experience to lead the design, strategic planning, and implementation of our diverse real estate development initiatives.
The Architect is tasked with developing designs that are both functional and visually compelling while maintaining cost efficiency, all within the framework of regulatory requirements and project guidelines.
The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced technical proficiency, strong project management capabilities, and a collaborative mindset, enabling effective engagement with engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality projects.
Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, managing cross-functional teams, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals. You will be responsible for analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Additionally, the role involves fostering collaboration across departments, mentoring team members, and maintaining high standards of productivity and quality. This position also requires effective communication with senior leadership to align on objectives and report on progress, as well as developing and executing actionable plans to enhance efficiency and innovation within the organization.
Craft innovative architectural designs, produce comprehensive drawings, establish detailed layouts, and prepare precise construction plans tailored for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D designs, presentations, and visualizations tailored to proposed projects.
Ensure that all designs consistently reflect the company’s strategic vision, meet client expectations, fulfill functional requirements, and comply with applicable regulatory standards.
Perform comprehensive site evaluations and feasibility assessments to determine the viability of prospective development initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
Oversee active construction initiatives to verify adherence to architectural specifications and established quality benchmarks throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate and endorse architectural documents, finishes, and specifications for compliance and quality assurance.
Guarantee that all design plans adhere strictly to local building codes, safety protocols, and environmental sustainability requirements.
Develop and oversee architectural documentation, approvals, and permit processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies and external advisors to secure project approvals and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to address complex challenges. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also required to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with stakeholders. Familiarity with project management methodologies and a commitment to continuous learning are advantageous.
A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline is required for this position.
A minimum of three years of professional architectural experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked within the real estate or construction sectors.
Skilled in utilizing advanced architectural design software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Refit, Ketchup, Union, Archibald, or comparable platforms.
The candidate must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of construction regulations, building techniques, and the coordination of project phases.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, deliver compelling presentations, and resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
Proven capability to successfully oversee and prioritize multiple projects while consistently delivering results within established deadlines.
Demonstrates meticulous focus on precision and fosters innovative thinking.
