Job Summary
The Fiber Project Manager will be responsible for managing complete fiber deployment projects from initiation to completion, guaranteeing on-time delivery, flawless execution, and strict adherence to industry regulations and standards.
The successful candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional organizational skills, complemented by robust design and coordination expertise.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational efficiency to drive organizational success. Develop and implement comprehensive initiatives aligned with company objectives, ensuring measurable progress and sustainable growth. Lead cross-functional teams to optimize performance, foster innovation, and maintain high standards of accountability. Design, oversee, and implement fiber network initiatives, including FTTH, FTTB, Backbone, and Metro projects.
Effectively manage the collaboration between field teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.
Prepare and deliver precise daily and weekly reports, project documentation, and as-built designs in a timely manner.
Track and oversee project progression, ensuring adherence to quality standards, established timelines, and budgetary constraints throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform detailed site surveys, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and execute thorough technical evaluations to ensure project viability and safety.
Ensure optimal utilization of materials and accountability for all assets.
Leverage digital platforms to monitor project progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and generate detailed reports.
Promptly address and resolve technical issues; escalate matters as needed to ensure timely resolution.
The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in the industry. Proficiency in advanced software tools and data analysis is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities are also required. Familiarity with project management methodologies and industry best practices is preferred.
Must be no older than 40 years of age.
Individuals should possess a comprehensive understanding of fiber optics, transmission systems, and the design principles for Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) infrastructures.
Demonstrates exceptional ability in managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables while maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders through comprehensive reporting mechanisms.
Proven expertise in utilizing GIS tools, AutoCAD, Google Earth, and other pertinent software applications.
Exceptional leadership capabilities, effective communication prowess, and robust analytical aptitude are essential for this role.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in fiber-related projects is required.
