What you will do
Design and build innovative web applications by leveraging customized solutions, open-source frameworks, and pre-built components.
Develop and optimize current web applications alongside internal integrated systems to ensure peak functionality and performance.
Develop and implement innovative features as well as requested modifications to current applications.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and expansion of customer-focused applications, ensuring alignment with evolving requirements and expectations.
Design and create intuitive templates, databases, and interfaces that prioritize user experience and functionality.
Design dynamic, database-integrated web applications to facilitate instant, real-time data exchange and access.
Design and implement external web portals that enable users to seamlessly input and retrieve precise information.
What you bring
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related field is required.
With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in PHP development, you possess a strong foundation in building and maintaining web applications. Your expertise includes proficiency in PHP frameworks, such as Laravel or Symfony, and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles. You are adept at writing clean, efficient, and scalable code while adhering to best practices and industry standards. Additionally, you have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Proficiency with recent PHP versions, particularly 7.x, is required for this role.
Proficient in establishing and managing relational databases using MySQL versions 5.6 or higher.
Proficient front-end development expertise is demonstrated through practical implementation with HTML, CSS (including SCSS, SASS, or LESS), client-side JavaScript, and jQuery.
Proficiency in utilizing Git version control systems along with hands-on experience in its implementation is required.
Proficiency in employing and developing RESTful APIs is essential; prior involvement in API creation or documentation will be viewed favorably.
Proficiency in Regis or equivalent NoSQL key-value databases is advantageous.
Proficiency in enhancing server and site performance would be considered advantageous.
Accomplished full-stack developer sought, with a strong preference for candidates who can also mentor others in areas requiring additional expertise.
Additional desired qualifications include proficiency in relevant software applications, familiarity with industry-specific tools, and experience with data analysis or reporting. Candidates with a proven track record in project coordination, strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration, or knowledge of compliance standards will be given special consideration. Familiarity with regulatory guidelines, prior experience in a similar role, or additional certifications related to the position are also advantageous.
Experienced professionals with a strong understanding of the Laravel 5.x framework—or equivalent MVC-based frameworks—are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Laravel’s core functionalities and architectural principles is essential. Candidates should possess a solid grasp of the MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern and prior exposure to Laravel 5.x development environments.
Proficiency in designing and implementing Single Page Applications is required, with hands-on experience using front-end frameworks such as Cans, Vue, Aurelia, or AngularJS.
Proficiency in utilizing message queuing systems or worker-based architectures within distributed processing environments—such as Beanstalk, RabbitMQ, Iron.io, or Amazon SQS—would be advantageous.
Individuals with prior exposure to build pipeline technologies such as Composer, NPM, Gulp, or Grunt will be strongly preferred.
Proven expertise in WordPress development, including proficiency with hooks, theming, and plugin integration, is essential.
Proficiently diagnose and resolve technical challenges associated with web servers, databases, security protocols, network infrastructure, and web-based technologies.
Customize, assemble, deploy, optimize, supervise, and troubleshoot server environments, with a specific emphasis on NGINX configurations.
Reporting, maintenance, and test automation solutions are developed and managed using PHP, with proficiency in tools such as PHPUnit.
Develop and refine internal tools to optimize website operations, while providing troubleshooting and resolution for hardware and software-related issues.
Proficiency in delivering customer and end-user assistance for digital products, coupled with expertise in web, graphic, and usability design, is essential.
