We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Online Branding Team Lead to oversee our Social Media Team. The preferred candidate will possess 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in building and expanding brand visibility across digital channels, accompanied by a robust history of achieving quantifiable outcomes. This position demands an innovative problem-solver, an influential leader, and a data-focused strategist capable of converting brand objectives into engaging online interactions and long-term expansion.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Conduct regular performance evaluations to assess team progress and address areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align goals and optimize workflows. Maintain accurate records, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to senior leadership. Uphold high standards of professionalism and accountability in all aspects of the role.

Spearhead the guidance, oversight, and mentorship of the Social Media Team to ensure the production of exceptional content and strategic campaigns.

Craft and execute cohesive social media strategies meticulously aligned with overarching business goals.

Develop and uphold the brand’s voice, tone, and visual identity across all digital channels, ensuring uniformity and coherence in every communication.

Devise and execute strategic initiatives to expand audience reach, foster deeper engagement, and drive higher conversion rates through creative and data-driven campaigns.

Examine performance data to identify key trends and opportunities, translating findings into strategic recommendations that drive measurable improvements in outcomes.

Responsibilities include managing content calendars, executing paid campaigns, coordinating influencer partnerships, and overseeing community engagement initiatives.

Monitor industry trends, analyze competitor strategies, and evaluate new platforms to ensure the brand remains pertinent and competitive in the market.

Work closely with Marketing, Design, Content, and Product teams to maintain consistent and cohesive branding efforts.

Prospective applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or demonstrate equivalent professional experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Additionally, candidates should have prior experience in project management or a related discipline, and must be proficient in data analysis and reporting.

With a minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in social media management, you have contributed to the online branding efforts of prominent brands, including MTN, UBA, Techno, and Infinite. As an active member of their digital branding teams, you bring a wealth of expertise in crafting and executing effective social media strategies.

A recognized Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

Proven ability to enhance brand awareness, foster deeper audience engagement, and drive measurable revenue growth.

Demonstrates extensive expertise in leading teams and managing personnel effectively.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing social media management and analytics software is essential.

Proficient in both written and oral communication, with a strong ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.

Expertise in content strategy, paid advertising, SEO fundamentals, and emerging digital trends is essential.

Proficient in analyzing data and leveraging insights to inform and guide strategic decision-making processes.

Results-driven professional who demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, proactivity, and a strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business, complemented by at least three years of progressive experience in a related discipline. Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, or R. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience with DevOps practices are highly desirable. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating across teams and stakeholders. Prior involvement in full-stack development or system architecture design would be advantageous, along with certifications in relevant technologies.
