Job Summary
We are actively recruiting a meticulous and innovative Tailor to become part of our distinguished fashion team.
The preferred applicant will demonstrate a deep enthusiasm for fashion trends, a refined aesthetic sensibility, and the proficiency to convert creative visions into tangible designs through sketching, pattern development, and garment assembly.
The chosen candidate will independently create premium men’s garments, ensuring meticulous attention to detail throughout the production process.
Oversee a comprehensive array of duties encompassing strategic planning, project execution, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to streamline workflows, identify process improvements, and drive innovation. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high operational standards. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster professional growth and enhance overall productivity. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies throughout all operational activities.
Transform initial design concepts into fully realized garments, guiding each piece from the ideation phase through to the final production stage.
Develop comprehensive production-oriented sketches with precision and clarity.
Perform comprehensive market research to stay apprised of evolving trends, color palettes, fabric innovations, and emerging techniques in the industry.
Guarantee that all garments are completed and delivered within the specified timelines.
Responsible for supervising fitting sessions and executing essential modifications to patterns as required.
Requirements
A Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science, or Technical Diploma—or an equivalent qualification—is required.
Minimum of one to ten years of relevant tailoring experience required.
Sketching proficiency with a steady hand is essential.
Demonstrates strong capability to handle pressing deadlines and juggle numerous projects simultaneously without compromising quality or efficiency.
Creativity at a high level and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Proficient interpersonal and client relations abilities are essential for engaging effectively with customers.
Able to rapidly grasp and analyze design specifications with precision.
