Description

The ideal candidate is responsible for enhancing the organization’s internal audit, risk management, and compliance functions by performing audit activities, evaluating operational processes, and verifying adherence to established policies and regulatory requirements.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Develop and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency, productivity, and innovation across departments. Collaborate closely with senior management to align goals, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to performance benchmarks. Mentor and guide staff to cultivate a high-performance culture, fostering professional growth and accountability. Manage budgetary allocations, resource distribution, and risk assessment to optimize financial and operational outcomes. Serve as a key liaison with stakeholders, partners, and external entities to strengthen relationships and facilitate seamless communication. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies while mitigating operational risks.

Perform comprehensive audits encompassing financial, operational, and compliance evaluations across various organizational departments.

Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of internal controls to pinpoint any deficiencies, process breakdowns, or potential risks that may compromise operational integrity or compliance standards.

Compile and present detailed audit reports that highlight identified issues and propose practical, actionable recommendations.

Oversee the execution of corrective measures to ensure compliance and resolve identified issues effectively.

Guarantee adherence to established internal policies, industry standards, and all applicable statutory obligations.

Provide assistance with fraud risk evaluations and investigations as needed.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is required.

Professional certification, such as ACA, ARCA, CIA, or an equivalent qualification, is highly advantageous.

A minimum of two years of practical experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance functions is required.

Proficiency in analytical reasoning, report generation, and issue resolution is required.

Requires strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and the preparation of audit documentation.
