We are looking for a proficient Sachet Packaging Machine Operator to run, supervise, and maintain Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) packaging machines specifically for seasoning sachet production.
The ideal candidate will oversee machine performance to guarantee optimal efficiency, uphold product quality, reduce downtime, and adhere strictly to food safety regulations.
Oversee the execution of primary duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and maintaining high standards of performance. Manage day-to-day operations with precision, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows and enhance productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve collective goals and drive continuous improvement. Monitor progress through established metrics and adjust approaches as needed to meet evolving demands. Serve as a key liaison between departments, fostering clear communication and seamless coordination. Uphold accountability for results while adhering to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Operate and oversee the performance of vertical form fill seal (VFFS) sachet packaging machinery to ensure efficient and precise packaging operations.
Responsibilities include configuring machinery in preparation for production runs and executing product changeovers as required.
Ensure precise machine configurations for optimal filling, sealing, sealing, coding, and packaging accuracy.
Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical malfunctions while promptly escalating significant problems to appropriate personnel for further investigation.
Reduce machine idle time and minimize material waste to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure machines and work areas remain in optimal cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety regulations, and workplace safety standards at all times.
Partner with the Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to meet established production goals efficiently and effectively.
Facilitate ongoing enhancement projects and perform all other designated responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
A minimum qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or a recognized technical certification is required.
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience with Dakota machines or comparable vertical form fill seal (VFFS) packaging systems is required.
Proficiency in food manufacturing or seasoning production processes would be highly beneficial.
Possesses a solid grasp of machine setup procedures, changeover processes, troubleshooting techniques, and packaging quality standards.
Experienced in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and workplace safety regulations.
Attention to detail and adaptability to operate effectively within a high-paced production setting are essential.
