Job Summary:
The Blocks Production Officer will collaborate with the Production Officer to manage the day-to-day operations and manufacturing processes for MSHE building blocks and related machinery. This position entails supporting the coordination of production schedules, performing quality control checks, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to the enhancement of production efficiency.
Key Accountabilities Include: Overseeing and executing core operational tasks with precision, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. This encompasses managing day-to-day activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining accurate documentation to support organizational objectives. Additionally, the role demands proactive problem-solving, efficient resource allocation, and consistent performance monitoring to drive productivity and meet strategic goals.
Provide assistance to the Production Officer in managing the manufacturing team and supervising every facet of the production workflow.
Assist in the creation and execution of production schedules to fulfill customer requirements while adhering to project timelines.
Observe ongoing production processes to pinpoint chances for enhancing workflow efficiency, increasing productivity levels, and elevating product quality.
Assist with the development and execution of quality control measures and protocols to verify that products adhere to established specifications.
Investigate equipment malfunctions and partner with maintenance teams to expedite resolution of technical issues.
Deliver instruction and support to production personnel regarding correct operational methods and safety standards.
Compile and evaluate production data to generate detailed reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for submission to the Production Officer.
Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or anomalies, ensuring immediate reporting of faults for swift resolution.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including the Purchasing and Inventory departments, to align production requirements effectively.
Propose innovative strategies to optimize workflows and drive continuous improvements in operational performance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in specific software or tools pertinent to the role is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also necessary. Prior experience in a similar position is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a relevant discipline is required for this position.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in block production and machinery troubleshooting.
