Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a pivotal role in overseeing multiple Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) locations, driving operational efficiency, financial performance, and adherence to the company’s established standards while prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure operational efficiency and project success, including developing and implementing strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and driving performance through data-driven decision-making. Monitor progress against established goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain alignment with organizational objectives. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and departmental teams to foster collaboration, streamline communication, and ensure transparency in reporting. Additionally, lead the preparation of comprehensive reports, presentations, and analyses to support executive reviews and strategic planning efforts.

Manage the day-to-day functions of designated locations to ensure seamless operational performance.

Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures, food safety protocols, hygiene regulations, and brand-specific standards.

Provide leadership and guidance to Outlet Managers and their respective teams to ensure operational efficiency and team performance.

Oversee sales performance, track expenditures, manage inventory levels, and evaluate overall outlet profitability.

Perform consistent evaluations of outlets through visits, audits, and performance assessments to ensure operational standards and targets are met.

Address customer concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to ensure a consistently high level of service excellence.

The role encompasses responsibilities related to recruitment initiatives, workforce training programs, employee scheduling, and ongoing staff development efforts.

Oversee stock levels meticulously to reduce wastage and financial losses.

Compile and present operational and performance reports for senior leadership review, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

A minimum of five years of professional experience in the quick service restaurant, restaurant, or hospitality management sectors is required.

Having experience in overseeing several retail locations simultaneously is beneficial for this role.

Exceptional proficiency in leadership, communication, and problem-solving is essential.

Demonstrates strong skills in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and generating operational reports with precision.

Handles sensitive information with the utmost discretion and integrity, ensuring all data remains secure and protected at all times. Maintains strict adherence to confidentiality protocols and legal obligations regarding the handling of proprietary, financial, and personal information. Demonstrates a commitment to ethical standards and safeguards company and client interests through responsible information management practices.
