Working Structure – Shift Basis
The position requires adherence to a structured shift schedule.
Working hours will be determined collaboratively based on the operational requirements of the office, including potential morning or afternoon shifts.
The Cleaner must arrive punctually, fulfill all assigned responsibilities throughout the shift, and ensure consistent attendance.
Flexibility is occasionally necessary to accommodate unique cleaning requirements or immediate priorities.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities:
This role encompasses a range of core functions, including the execution of daily operational tasks, management of project timelines, and facilitation of cross-departmental collaboration to achieve organizational objectives. Key responsibilities involve overseeing workflow efficiency, ensuring adherence to established protocols, and identifying opportunities for process optimization. Additionally, the position requires active engagement in strategic planning, performance monitoring, and stakeholder communication to drive continuous improvement and sustainable growth within the team or department.
Sweep, mop, and dust the office every day to keep it clean.
Ensure all desks, chairs, and other office furniture are kept clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities include collecting and disposing of waste materials in designated receptacles, ensuring proper waste segregation and disposal practices are followed.
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of toilets, ensuring they remain clean and free of odors at all times.
Keep the area outside the office (walkways and parking) clean.
Ensure the office is securely locked at the conclusion of each business day.
Replace burned-out bulbs and activate the generator as required to maintain operational continuity.
Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the area by removing weeds and ensuring that grass, flowers, and pathways remain orderly and well-kept.
Identify and promptly report any maintenance issues or repair needs to the appropriate department or supervisor.
Perform any additional cleaning duties or support tasks as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting. A minimum of three years of professional experience in a related role is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are critical. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are also necessary. Familiarity with industry-specific software or tools is a plus.
Individuals must possess the capacity to interpret written information accurately and communicate ideas clearly through both verbal and written means.
Prior experience in cleaning or a comparable field is highly beneficial.
