Reporting to the Logistics and Supply Manager and coordinating closely with the Logistics Coordinator, the Logistics Assistant/Driver will oversee the maintenance and repair of Medicine du Mode (MDM) premises and be responsible for operating MDM vehicles.

The incumbent will ensure the operational integrity of MDM facilities by performing a diverse range of maintenance tasks, including servicing equipment, maintaining outdoor areas, evaluating repair requirements, and addressing maintenance requests across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, furniture, and other systems. Additionally, the role involves operating MDM vehicles in compliance with established organizational protocols.

Upon receiving an order, the employee must verify the quantity of packages, inspect both the packaging and contents, and promptly report any discrepancies—such as missing or damaged items—to the Logistics and Supply Manager.

Upon receiving the items, promptly update the stock cards by entering the receipt document reference number. Then, carefully store the goods in accordance with the specific guidelines provided by the Logistics and Supply Manager.

Consistently maintain adequate stock levels of high-demand merchandise throughout the store.

Maintain meticulous organization, proper storage, and complete protection of all items while ensuring they are fully identified, clean, and securely accessible for efficient retrieval and use.

Operating vehicles with a strong focus on passenger safety and ensuring the secure transportation of materials and equipment is essential.

We enforce adherence to MDM driving regulations at all times, ensuring strict compliance with established protocols to safeguard operational integrity. This role demands a thorough understanding of industry-specific safety standards and the ability to implement preventive measures effectively. Key responsibilities include monitoring driving practices, conducting regular audits, and providing targeted training to mitigate risks. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and prior experience in a regulatory or safety-focused role. You must maintain a valid driver’s license at all times and be prepared to present it promptly during any requested inspection.

To uphold compliance and operational efficiency, it is essential to verify that all required documentation remains current and is renewed prior to expiration, including annual road safety inspections and registration of primary drivers with the Rental Company.

Responsible for performing regular upkeep and servicing of company vehicles to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and adherence to safety standards. Duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, as well as conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Must follow manufacturer guidelines and company protocols to maintain vehicle efficiency and extend operational lifespan.

Regularly inspect the vehicle’s engine, oil levels, brake fluid, tire pressure, and windshield washer fluid, among other critical components, to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Please notify the direct supervisor immediately upon encountering any technical issues or maintenance requirements.

Following the approval of the direct supervisor, maintenance tasks are either organized or executed as required.

The vehicle must be maintained in pristine condition both internally and externally at all times.
