We are in search of a strategic and results-oriented Online Branding Team Lead to spearhead our Social Media Team. The preferred candidate will possess 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in managing and expanding brand visibility across digital channels, coupled with a robust history of tangible achievements. This position demands a creative problem-solver, an influential leader, and a data-focused strategist capable of converting brand vision into engaging online interactions and consistent growth.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties to ensure seamless business continuity, including managing daily workflows, coordinating team activities, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance, drive process improvements, and align resources with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation, streamline workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity. Direct the Social Media Team, providing leadership, supervision, and mentorship to ensure the execution of high-quality content and impactful campaigns.
Craft and execute integrated social media strategies that drive alignment with overarching business goals.
Oversee the brand’s voice, tone, and consistency across all digital channels to maintain a cohesive and unified presence.
Develop and execute inventive strategies to expand audience reach, enhance engagement, and drive conversions through dynamic campaigns.
Evaluate key performance indicators and derive practical recommendations to enhance outcomes.
Responsible for managing content calendars, paid campaigns, influencer partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.
Analyze market trends, track competitor actions, and identify emerging platforms to ensure the brand remains pertinent and competitive.
Partner with Marketing, Design, Content, and Product teams to maintain a unified and consistent brand identity across all initiatives.
Requirements
With a minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in social media management, you have contributed to the branding initiatives of renowned companies including MTN, UBA, Techno, and Infinite. Additionally, you have actively participated as a member of their online branding teams throughout your career.
An HND or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
Proven ability to enhance brand recognition, foster meaningful engagement, and drive measurable revenue growth.
Demonstrates a proven track record in leading and managing high-performing teams.
Demonstrates expertise in utilizing social media management software and analytics solutions.
Proven ability to convey information clearly and effectively through both written and spoken channels.
A solid grasp of content strategy, paid advertising, SEO principles, and emerging digital trends is essential.
Proficient in analyzing data and transforming insights into actionable strategic plans.
Results-driven professional with a strong inclination towards organization, proactivity, and a relentless focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of industry experience. Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and proficiency in industry-specific software are highly valued. Familiarity with regulatory standards and best practices is essential.
