Zonal Supervisor

Reporting to: Area Manager Job Purpose

Responsible to the Area Manager for timely and full coverage of all sites and prompt response to emergency situations.
To monitor, patrol and visit all assigned beats and locations.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy security officers in strict accordance with the required manpower for each site allocation
In the absence of a site commander brief security officers about their duties when posting them to sites.
Visit sites during day and night shifts and carry out personal checks of security officers in line with the customer policy.
Ensure that security officers perform their duties and responsibilities in strict accordance with the approved site procedures
Check and replace site equipment that is not serviceable.
Confirm that the site inventory and actual equipment on site are reflected in the site procedures
Carry out breathalyzer tests on security officers suspected of taking alcohol and remove such officers from the site
Report such incidence to the control center and initiate disciplinary action
Complete occurrence book covering all movements and any incidents that have occurred during the course of each shift
Check that site tests have been executed
Check that all security officers are in possession of a security officer’s information sheet and that they understand and apply the contents
Be involved in development of career path progression for all the subordinates and ensuring that their competencies are fully developed to meet the future challenges of our industry.
Any order duty that may be assigned by the Area Manager.

Client Management:

Responds to client’s demands if need be as regards operatives
Fosters a mutually beneficial relationship with the clients at the authorization of the Area Manager
Responds to clients complaints
Ensures that clients requirements are met at all times

Communication/Reporting:

Report the following to the Area Manager:
Disciplinary Issues
Abandonment
Clients complain etc
Short legs etc

Requirements

Possess minimum of OND/NCE and above in any field of study
Minimum of Two years cognate experience in private security industry
Must be able to drive
Possess valid Driving License and Lasdri
