Purpose of the assignment and main tasks:
Under the supervision of the Project Manager of Tomorrow is a New Day, the consultant will develop and implement a full-fledged advocacy strategy for promoting the overarching advocacy objectives of TND II:
Review the Common Ground Advocacy training manual and adapt it to the context of the Niger-Delta.
Conduct Training of Trainers (TOT) for programme officers of SFCG and implementing partners in Port Harcourt. Rivers State.
Supervise the step-down of the Advocacy training in target communities in Abia, Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers States
Deliver a comprehensive report at the end of the consultancy period detailing the review ofthe manual, trainings and outcomes ofthe training.
Required Skills and Experience Education:
Masters’ Degree in Gender studies, International Development, education or other field related to Gender equality.
Experience:
At least 7 years of working with International organisations, government agencies or NGOs of which, three (3) years’ experience is on working on women and youth human rights issues.
Previous experience in Youth oriented projects will be an advantage.
The total duration of the consultancy is for 30 days.
