Job Summary
The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for accurately weighing and recording all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining order at the weighbridge to prevent congestion.
The role requires proficiency in data entry, verifying weigh tickets, and reporting any discrepancies or system issues to the supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Weigh and record all incoming and outgoing goods using the weighbridge system.
Utilize computer software for data entry and maintaining weigh records.
Verify weigh tickets and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
Maintain order at the weighbridge area to avoid congestion and ensure smooth operations.
Report any discrepancies in weight records or system malfunctions to the supervisor.
Assist in maintaining weighbridge equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
Keep accurate records and generate reports as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree / HND with 1-3 years work experience.
Proficiency in basic office operations, especially Microsoft Word and excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work shifts.
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
