Job Description
We are seeking a self motivated skilled and creative Web Designer & Developer with a strong portfolio of practical experience.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in using tools such as GitHub, Figma, WordPress, eCommerce platforms, and various content management systems (CMS).
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining websites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
Key Responsibilities
Website Design & Development: Create and maintain responsive and visually compelling websites using modern design principles and best practices.
UI/UX Design: Use Figma to design intuitive user interfaces and experiences, ensuring that websites are user-centric and visually appealing.
Content Management: Manage website content through CMS platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
eCommerce Solutions: Develop and manage eCommerce websites, ensuring a smooth user experience, secure transactions, and effective product management.
Version Control: Utilize GitHub for version control, collaborative development, and project management.
Optimization & Maintenance: Regularly update and optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and IT, to deliver cohesive web solutions that meet business objectives.
Qualifications
OND / HND qualification
Proven experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
Proficiency in tools such as GitHub, Figma, WordPress, and various eCommerce platforms.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and other relevant web technologies.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and knowledge of best practices for web development.
Ability to translate design concepts into functional websites.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with SEO, web analytics, and performance optimization is a plus.
Familiarity with other design tools and development frameworks is an advantage.
