Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring optimal inventory management, storage, and distribution processes.
This role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining safety standards, and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience in inventory control, and knowledge of warehouse management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Implement and maintain efficient inventory management systems to track stock levels accurately.
Ensure proper storage of goods to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and operational efficiency.
Logistics & Distribution:
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and other departments to ensure timely inbound and outbound shipments.
Develop and enforce efficient loading and dispatch procedures to minimize delays.
Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
Manage warehouse equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality.
Team Leadership & Compliance:
Supervise and train warehouse staff to maintain high performance and productivity.
Enforce health, safety, and security regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and process improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and distribution processes.
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement improvements.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
