Duties and Responsibilities
Enhance Accuracy & Consistency of Medical Record Entry & Updates
Obtain and enter New patient data
Prepare patient charts prior to visit
Note missing action items
Ensure immunization records are entered
Enter/Update patient pharmacy
Update existing medical records
Organize medical history
Accurately capture and record visit details in real time.
Transcribe visit notes from audio recordings
Score developmental and behavioral health surveys and questionnaire
Enter correct ICD 10 and CPT codes
Make disease specific templates based on provider preference
Update medication favorites
Improve Organization & Retrieval responsibilities
Organize health records, for easier retrieval for future reference
Maintain and update provider referral list
Streamline Communication & Follow-up
Appointment reminders
Make referrals to specialist as directed
Retrieve consult notes from specialist office
Enter diagnosis from consult notes into problem list
Attach consult notes to patient chart
Generate lab test slips as ordered
Follow up on test results
Complete all delegated tasks in a professionally accurate and timely manner
Skills and Competencies
Must possess MBBS/MD with at least 2 years of outpatient practice experience
Attentive listening
Ability to type fast
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Tech Savvy
Reliable
Quick Learner
Good grasp of Medical Terminology and medical concepts
Interest in working in pediatrics
Willingness to work in a unified Team
Self-Motivated for Excellence
Work Schedule
40 hours a week
Monday – Friday (8am- 7pm Eastern US Time)
One Saturday a month (9am – 2pm Eastern US Time)
