Job Summary
We are sourcing for a Resident Vet doctor for a veterinary pharmaceutical company and service provider located in Ibadan, Nigeria.
Job Responsibilities
Examine animals and check their health status
Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
Dress wounds of injured animals
Perform dental, ophthalmic and orthopedic surgeries
Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
Spay and neuter cats and dogs as needed
Prescribe medication
Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare and general care
Conduct home visits occasionally, in case of emergency
Update client records.
Requirements and Qualifications
Qualification, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
1+ years relevant work experience.
Versatile in Poultry medicine, diagnosis, poultry production and management.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work with little supervision
Leadership skills with impeccable character
Proven work experience as poultry medicine diagnostician or similar role would be an added advantage
