JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ensuring accurate KYC is in place for all deposits.
Ensuring prompt booking and execution of client’s instructions on the core banking application and any other application
Ensure that all information needed in the preparation Financial Statement are correct, valid and relate to a cut off period
Ensuring timely delivery of note certificates to clients
Participate in the Preparation of Annual Budget. Monthly/Quarterly Budget Performance and Budget analysis.
Participate in statutory Audit by providing data and information to external Auditors
Ensure Posting of transactions to individual Ledgers.
Ensuring timely notifications to clients about maturity of their deposits
Ensuring timely preparation and approval of deal slips, and payment vouchers for interest, liquidations etc..
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BSc in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
1-5 years experience in an operational role or finance role in a financial institution.
A professional qualification – ACA, ACCA or ACIB will be an added advantage.
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
Banking operations
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong verbal , written and quantitative skills.
