Description
The Treasury Officer is responsible for assisting the Treasurer in the management of Renmoney’s liquidity position, to achieve optimal profitability while minimizing risk exposure.
You will provide timely and relevant Balance Sheet information to facilitate strategic decision making.
Responsibilities
Prepare daily liquidity and repayment reports
Initiate funds transfer and Bank placements
Daily review of all bank statements
Periodic Bank reconciliation of all relevant LCY accounts and registers
Ensure adequate funding of disbursement and other operational accounts.
Ensure regular updates of Bank mandates and other correspondence
Advise/post entries for interbank transfers and other treasury transactions
Maintain an organized filing system for Treasury related banking instructions and requests
Deposit ticket and expense review for disbursement
Requirements
Candidates should possess a University Degree or equivalent in any field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Treasury or Finance role
ACA (ICAN), CIMA or ACCA qualification / Student membership
Possess strong data analysis, Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
Sound knowledge & understanding of the Nigerian economy and financial markets
Strong analytical skills and interpretation capabilities
Demonstrate solid ability to mine data to produce actionable insights
