Job description
We are looking for a Travel Agent Trainee to Intern in our company for a limited period of time before transiting into the Role of a Full Fledged Travel Service officer.
To this extent, we are looking to employ a Travel Service Intern – Operations (Ops) to perform the undermentioned duties, whilst developing better skills and earning more certifications to effectively serve in a more permanent role.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the travel industry, confident and command a good communication skills, as well as a good client management ability.
Key Responsibilities:
Selling Flight Tickets (Domestic, Regional International);
Post ticketing support services;
Hotel Booking support (pre/post travel support);
Visa Application Support Services;
Building passenger profiles and use with all reservations;
Selling of Travel/Holiday Packages & Tours;
Selling of all Travel Services & Client management.
General Travel Sales & Marketing;
Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a certification of Travel Service Training from an Aviation Training School & Above;
Candidates must be able to proficiently use any of the GDS and other booking systems
Key Skills Needed
Candidates must be able to proficiently use any of the GDS;
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in travel-related roles with proven expertise in sales and service management.
Understanding of flights, hotels, transfers booking and visa processes.
Proficiency in travel booking systems and customer relationship management tools.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to think strategically and respond swiftly to challenges.
