Responsibilities
Develop and oversee transportation policies, procedures, and programs to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations.
Supervise logistics, transportation, and customer delivery.
Build and develop a high-performing transportation management team.
Manage the fleet of vehicles and coordinate the transportation department’s daily activities, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching of vehicles and drivers.
Coordinate vehicle assignments and input data into the system.
Evaluate transporter performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
5 – 7 years experience in similar role.
Should have extensive experience in dealing with transportation company and managing company owned fleet of trucks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
