Job Description
Coca-Cola Nigeria is seeking experienced Trailer Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes.
The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain the vehicle in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and drive company-assigned trailers to transport Coca-Cola products to various locations.
Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to customers and distribution centers.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues for maintenance.
Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate trip records, delivery logs, and fuel usage reports.
Load and unload goods as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the trailer.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification: Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in any field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience driving heavy-duty trucks or trailers.
Valid Driver’s License: Class Gdriver’s license, with certification for heavy-duty vehicles.
Good knowledge of Nigerian roads, traffic regulations, and safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading tasks when required.
Preferred Skills:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
