Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations in Port Harcourt and its surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing client relationships, and expanding the company’s customer base within the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and enrollee acquisition targets in the assigned territory.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, SMEs, and individual subscribers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the Regional Sales Manager.
Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
Ensure timely resolution of client inquiries and complaints to maintain excellent service delivery.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote IHMS services.
Train and mentor sales team members within the territory, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare, HMO, or insurance industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of healthcare services and HMO operations is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Familiarity with the South-South and South East market and its dynamics is an added advantage.
