Techno-Commercial Manager

The Techno-Commercial Manager plays a business-critical role in building best-in-class technical and commercial assets based on best practices that help design winning propositions and robust commercial structures that deliver best value for money for the customer and optimal return on investment for both the customer and Ericsson.

What you will do:

Serve as a highly Trusted Partner: A go to person for specialist techno-commercial guidance and strategic commercial positioning. Together with support of cross-functional experts bring technical, commercial, and tactical insights on 2G/3G/4G/5G RAN, Core, Cloud, NFVI with focus on related Services (e.g. Rollout, Tuning, Optimisation, Integration), Customer Support, Serviceability and other key product portfolio in customer engagements, deals, contract reviews across various (Customer Units) CUs and Accounts.
Lead the relationship and be a close business partner to Technical Domains, Commercial Management, Sales organization across the CUs, Accounts and Business Areas.
Drive the winning offer: To ensure best proposal is crafted by providing techno-commercial insights and mentorship on barebone scoping, best commercial models, market price benchmarks, negotiation tactics, T&Cs adaptations, competitor insights and intelligence.
Industrialise Best Practices: Drive Techno-Commercial excellence by developing a rich suite of smart commercial practices, tools, tactics, value argumentations, best practices that help deliver differentiation, establish thought leadership, and increase the quality and maximize qualifications of customer engagements
Oversee responsibilities related to Business Area, such as commercial analysis, creation of negotiation frameworks, deviation management, and coaching/training duties.

To be successful in the role:

The candidate should show with facts a proven track record exposure to challenging complex sales engagements and negotiations contributing into solution optimisations bringing commercial benefits to both negotiating parties or development and implementation of commercial modelling increasing chances to win profitable business while securing growth. Experience in services area related to presales and delivery will be considered as a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree (B.S./B.A./MSc) and preferably MBA
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Financially astute with commercial & negotiation skills
Ability to think strategically and be operationally rigorous
Problem-solving skills and fact-based decision-making ability under time pressure
Challenger attitude, solution-oriented mindset with a diplomatic approach
High collaboration skills and ability to influence
High integrity
Preferably experience in Middle East and Africa Market
