PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To supervise all operations in the Bottling and Margarine plant.
THE JOB
Ensure that all products produced are of high quality and standards.
Prepare and submit daily reports of production to the Process Manager daily, weekly, and monthly, etc.
Ensure that the processed parameters and specifications are adhered to by all Operators.
Prevent and control hazards and accidents by ensuring machines are kept in good condition.
Ensure adherence to hygiene standards by all Operators, Packers, and Cleaners.
Report problems with regard to the food safety management system to the food safety team/leader or any other person specified via appropriate identification within the factory.
Proper planning of Production to reduce frequent line changeovers and downtimes.
THE PERSON MUST
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Possess remarkable problem-solving skills.
Have strong interpersonal and team working skills.
Be able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
QUALIFICATION
5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
OND in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
