The Technical Sales Manager will play a key role in driving sales by providing technical expertise, building strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and manage relationships with prospective clients in target industries.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Lead negotiations and close sales contracts with a strong focus on meeting customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Provide technical expertise on machinery and equipment to clients, helping them select the best solutions for their requirements.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients.
Troubleshoot product issues and work closely with the technical team to provide effective solutions.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
Monitor competitor activities and provide insights for product positioning and pricing.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field; technical background is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, ideally within the machinery or technical equipment industry.
Strong technical understanding of machinery, tools, or equipment solutions for industries such as construction, mining, and agriculture.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing successful sales strategies.
Experience in selling construction equipment, like Drilling Machine, Grinder, Sander etc.
Candidates must have experience selling machines for Bosch, Mantrac etc.
