Job Summary
Our clients is seeking a skilled and driven Technical Sales Person to join their sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in technical sales and the ability to understand customer requirements, provide technical solutions, and contribute to sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Research and target potential customers, industries, and markets for our technical products and services.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by understanding their technical needs and offering tailored solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training sessions to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.
Implement and refine strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
Provide technical consultation and support to customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and technical challenges.
Prepare and present detailed sales proposals, quotes, and contracts that align with customer needs and company objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of experience in technical sales
Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
