Technical Assistant Immunization Specialist – STRICAN Project

Reports To: Project Manager

Working Conditions

Willingness to travel to project sites, including rural and underserved areas.
Program implementation and operational support
Support project team to outline quarterly plans from the annual work plan for necessary approvals
Facilitate implementation of actions within the approved annual work plan for completion of planned activities
Prepare report on activities and present at the weekly briefing meeting with stakeholders and share the report with the Program Manager, team members and other stakeholders on weekly basis
Ensure that all communication and guidance provided by the project Team and Partners/Stakeholders on project intervention is addressed and responded to for robust project implementation
Address all communication from stakeholders and partners on technical aspects of the project
Support the project team in their role of preparing and updating progress reports of the project on an ongoing basis and assist the documentation of progress across states
Prepare concept notes and memos for project activities as required on the project to obtain necessary approvals to facilitate implementation of planned activities
Conduct quarterly workplan and budget performance analysis on planned activities, develop a report and communicate to all concerned stakeholders
Prepare project documents for report and presentations
Partnerships and collaborations
Participate in discussions and/or correspondences with development partners and other stakeholders in the Immunization and RMNCAH+N space
Maintain quality interactions with national, state, and international stakeholders supporting the Immunization and RMNCAH+N programs
Engage and collaborate with development partners to enhance donor coordination and resource mapping for Immunization and RMNCAH+N
Foster strong partnerships with government officials and development partners at all levels, collaborating closely with the Immunization Plus team to synergize efforts and integrate initiatives where applicable.
Evidence and knowledge development
Support the incorporation of evaluation results and lessons learned in updating strategies and approaches to improve the effectiveness of national Immunization and RMNCAH+N programs and interventions
Provide support in developing a prioritized national Immunization and RMNCAH+N operational research agenda
Support the State to conduct routine diagnostic (data) analysis of the PHC services and develop a monitoring plan for implementation
Ensure alignment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to critical success factors (CSFs) working with team members to ensure that project objectives are achieved.
