Duties and Responsibilities
Good practical understanding of the Esri software, solutions and applications
Carryout the installation and configuration of software for clients
Conducting use-case analysis of business/organisations functions to establish GIS application requirements and geospatial data model requirements
Provide high-quality technical support and customer service to new and existing clients
Resolve technical issues related to ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and Enterprise geodatabases using Esri tools and other related technologies.
Identify issues and log defects for customer service improvements
Work well in a high energy, fast paced, enthusiastic, positive, and collaborative culture.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrate how products/services will meet clients’ needs
Work with the sales team in generating support materials and providing technical input for clients and end users
Prepare technical reports and rendering technical support services to clients
Develop and implement product-training and education programs for the sales team and clients.
Planning and communicating specific work tasks for database creation and management, application development, and ongoing maintenance for clients.
Requirements and qualifications
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related fields
Minimum of 5-year post NYSC experience in ICT/software/ Computer industry In Esri software environment
Knowledge of Esri products (ArcGIS, ArcGIS online, ArcGIS Enterprise), GIS application development, GIS databases, Spatial Analysis, and/or Cartography
Have strong written, creative thinking and verbal communication skills, specifically presentation skills
Solid understanding of GIS theory and applications.
Solve and articulate complex problems through application design, development, and exemplary user experience
Ability to patiently communicate technical information clearly and concisely
Ability to learn new concepts quickly, retain large amounts of information, and adapt to a changing work environment
Strong prioritization skills including managing time and work load efficiently
