Ref.: IITA-HR-NRS2016-014 Location: IbadanJobType: National (3-year renewable contract) Responsibilities The successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties and responsibilities: Educational Leadership:
Be committed to and promote academic excellence;
To provide in-service training as required by head;
Teaching Role:
Be responsible for the education and welfare of the Grade 4 pupils;
Plan and prepare courses and lessons following the programmes in place;
Asses, record and report on the progress of the pupils;
Maintain a well-ordered teaching area;
Responsible for and participate in two afternoon clubs;
Follow the timetable as agreed with the head;
Ensure compliance with all requirements of a class teacher as laid down in the ‘Class Teacher Duties report;
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned
Qualification and Competencies
B.Ed/BSc in Education
Minimum of Five (5) years relevant experience.
Competencies:
Child-centered
Inquiry-based teaching knowledge;
Good interpersonal skills and well organized
