Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist

The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist is responsible for attracting, sourcing and hiring top talent to support the hospital’s operational and patient care needs. The role holder will facilitate a welcoming and informative onboarding experience, ensuring all new employees have a seamless transition into the organization.

Summary of Responsibilities

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified healthcare professionals and staff for various hospital departments.
Collaborate with Human Resource Business partners for job requisitions and timely filling of open positions.
Coordinate and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, candidate outreach, interviews, selection, and offer negotiations.
Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future job openings, ensuring readiness to meet staffing demands.
Oversee the new hire onboarding process to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all incoming employees.
Ensure all clinical hires complete relevant credentialing and privileging documentation.
Liaise with verification partners to conduct background checks for new hires; verify practicing license of licensed professionals with regulatory institutions.
Prepare regular reports on recruitment and onboarding metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, new hire retention rates, onboarding & documentation completion.
Participate in Human Resource projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
ACIPM/PHRI, SHRM-CP or relevant HR certifications
5+ years of relevant work experience in similar HR role
