Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
Configure, monitor, and optimize network and system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard organizational data
Maintain and update system and network documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and cybersecurity trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Systems Network Engineer or similar role.
Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
Hands-on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and system administration (Windows, Linux, or Unix).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent, are a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
