Job Summary

This role supports the development and execution of supply chain strategies while overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient movement of goods and materials. It collaborates with various units to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and maintain supplier relationships. The position requires coordinating with multiple stakeholders to streamline procurement processes and maintain supply chain integrity.

Here is a brief description of the key responsibilities and functions:
 

Supervise and manage the Supply Chain team, providing guidance and support in carrying out inspections and audits throughout the production process
Wholistic understanding of supply chain activities and ensuring all operations meet the highest standard.
 Effectively communicate target and delegate tasks to team members daily. 
Monitor task progress, paying attention to constraints and resolving them before they become a source of delay. 
Support team members in achieving set targets by providing guidance and liaising with other departments to quickly provide solutions to issues. 
Monitor data (Open POs) on GSS, ensure accuracy of information and resolve all pending issues on POs
Review the skill level of team members and grow department’s competence level through training, mentorship, and hand holding. 
 Understand Tranos standard material and deduce cost saving opportunity through proper planning for material procurement.
Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. 
Provide performance feedback to team leads and help address issues affecting growth and improvements. 
Save cost through reduced inventory, proper storage of material, good quality and cost-effective procurement. 
Maintain good supplier relationship management and strengthen buying power

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
Relevant certifications in supply chain management (e.g., Sigma 6, Lean Certification, CIPS, APICS) are a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or related roles, with a proven track record in procurement and logistics.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships, with knowledge of local and international markets.
Proficient in supply chain management software tools e.g ERP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, environmental standards, and sustainability practices in supply chain management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
