Job Summary
Drive the monthly demand forecasting process by analyzing historic sales data, incorporating pricing fluctuations, and considering the impact of discounts, promotions, and activations on forecasted sales volumes.
Develop a collaborative demand forecast in partnership with key business leaders.
Monthly order planning is executed in alignment with the established forecast, current GIT/open orders, and predefined stock norms.
Monitor and oversee pending shipments from principals via GIT, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of all deliveries.
Collaborate closely with Principals in the S&OP process to develop and implement the monthly supply plan efficiently and effectively.
Oversee daily warehouse stock replenishment operations, collaborate closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to manage stock movements, and maintain strict adherence to planned inventory quantities.
Monitor and oversee inventory levels for each stock keeping unit (SKU) in accordance with established guidelines.
Prepare MIS and KPI reports at regular intervals, covering daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual frequencies, to ensure comprehensive performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional interpersonal abilities and expertise in coordinating with various stakeholders are essential.
Person Specifications
A bachelor’s degree is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in demand or supply planning, data analysis, sales, warehousing, or logistics.
An advanced academic qualification, such as an MBA, is strongly preferred for this position.
