Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Strategy Manager at Bluebulb. The Strategy Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, providing financial advice and management consulting services, and developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize cross-border payments for African businesses.
The Strategy Manager is responsible for driving the company’s strategic initiatives, conducting market analysis, and identifying growth opportunities to enhance business performance. This role involves working closely with senior management to develop long-term plans, improve operational efficiencies, and ensure the company remains competitive in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and implement corporate strategies that align with the company’s vision and business objectives.
Collaborate with leadership teams to set business priorities, drive decision-making, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to ensure strategic agility.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
Provide data-driven insights to guide business development and expansion efforts.
Evaluate new markets, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
Business Performance & Growth Optimization
Analyze business performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Identify areas for operational improvements and cost reductions to drive business growth.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Prepare high-level reports, presentations, and proposals for executive management and board meetings.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align business objectives with market opportunities.
Lead strategic discussions and communicate recommendations effectively to key decision-makers.
Risk Management & Innovation
Identify potential business risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Drive innovation by identifying emerging business models and best practices to enhance organizational competitiveness.
Qualifications
Analytical Skills and Finance expertise
Strong Communication and Consulting abilities
Experience in Management Consulting
Ability to analyze financial data and make strategic decisions
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
Experience in the fintech industry is a plus
