Store Officer

JOB SUMMARY: To manage the receipt, stock taking/count, storage, issuance and control of various items in the store in line with standards to reduce stock holding costs, ensure continuous availability eliminate waste and increase stock quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees and administers the operations of a store. Receives, identifies, verifies and issue stock items
Accountable for the accuracy and correctness of inventory records/documentation
Review and implement  stock computations and analysis required to drive reorder level and quantities (e.g. Minimum Level, Maximum Level, Reorder Level, Reorder Quantity, Economic Order Quantity etc)
Plan and direct periodic stock counts and stock taking exercises
Maintains files appropriate to the activities of the unit, such as invoices, order number, receiving date, etc.
Prepares reports.

REQUIREMENT

Knowledge of Microsoft Packages
Inventory/Logistics Management
Maintenance Management
One to two years’ work related experience with a first degree in relevant discipline.
