Description
The Store Manager will oversee operations across all warehouses, ensuring seamless inventory management, team coordination, and operational efficiency.
This role is critical to maintaining effective supply chain processes, ensuring material availability, and optimizing warehouse performance through strong leadership and strategic planning.
The manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, staff management, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Conduct regular stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy using advanced management software.
Coordinate procurement activities, including material receipt, inspection, and documentation.
Lead and manage store personnel, providing training and professional development.
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all warehouse operations.
Maintain organized and efficient warehouse operations, ensuring timely access to required materials.
Prepare comprehensive reports on inventory performance, stock status, and project material usage.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing, galvanizing, or fabrication environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems and warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with industrial health, safety, and environmental regulations.
