Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Station Manager to lead our client’s operations, drive business growth, and enhance service delivery at our station.
The Station Manager will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the company’s operations at the station level.
This includes managing departmental performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, fostering stakeholder relationships, and driving financial and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee various departments within the organization, ensuring operational excellence and staff performance.
Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the local market through customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and new business development.
Prepare and submit yearly financial budgets in collaboration with department heads.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure financial targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
Develop and implement business strategies that promote growth and market expansion.
Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and government authorities, to support business objectives.
Ensure full compliance with local and international freight regulations.
Maximize profitability by improving efficiency and optimizing resources.
Provide monthly reports on station performance and key operational metrics to senior management.
Participate in commercial activities to drive revenue growth and strengthen market position.
Organize weekly coordination meetings to align cross-functional teams.
Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
Conduct a SWOT analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Coordinate meetings with the principal airline (ET) at least twice a year to review performance and set targets.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or aviation operations.
Proven leadership experience in a managerial role within the freight or logistics industry.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial planning.
Excellent relationship management skills with a strong network in the industry.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in logistics software and reporting tools.
