Spare Parts Storekeeper Raw Materials Storekeeper

Job Responsibilities

Manage the spare part store organization and space utilization
Manage supervision of spare parts movements and control of stocks
Organize stock security
Ensure and maintain proper inventory system and all parts issued/received are reflected immediately on to the stock card daily.
Records all shipments of spare parts incoming and checks with the packing list
Provides information of any excess, lose and damaged item
Record properly the Receiving/ Issuing Slip / Stock
Keep and file each document relative to a stock movement
Ensure discipline and security in the Spare Part Department
Produce stock analyses, documents, and reports upon request by management.
Ensure the proper delivery / transfer of parts
Establish spare part purchasing request to re-complete the stock
Maintain minimum reordering stock levels.
Carryout other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

B.Sc./HND Accounting or relevant discipline from a reputable institution
Minimum 5 years’ experience in store/inventory management with manufacturing companies preferably in handling machinery spare parts etc.
SAP “ERP” knowledge is a MUST.
Good knowledge of MS Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good command of English
Excellent understanding on handling sensitive documents
Good organizational skills
Relevant experience in supervising spare parts /tools/store of similar size is preferred.
