Details:We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven professional to join our Sales team. The person that we require for this role will be professional in every aspect, an excellent presenter, a good listener, a fast learner and most importantly driven by a personal desire to succeed. Someone who has operated within IT, Gaming, Audio Visual (AV), Video Conference (VC) or business development sales role within Lagos and/or Abuja for the past 2 years would be a desirable addition to our operation. Sales Officers are responsible for selling Company’s products and services.SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate shall interalia perform the following roles and responsibilities:
Translating the company’s vision, mission, and values into meaningful marketing strategy and sales activity.
Networking and development of new external businesses to close a sale
Maintaining positive relationship with existing business contact
Opportunity identification, registration, qualification and needs analysis determination of current and future clients
Liaising with other team members to ensure positive and timely outcomes
Support and manage the quote/estimation/design creation process
Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
Gathering market and customer information;
Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;
Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer;
Feeding future buying trends back to employers;
Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer
Proven track record of achieving target in a high-end, quota-based sales environment
Exceptional technical knowledge in smart homes software and hardware application will be an added advantage
Strong skills and experience in sales and commercial business acumen specifically within the Audio Visual, VC or IT or Real Estate industry or selling luxury products
An understanding of audio visual systems and products including control systems, integration etc. would be an added advantage.
The ability to build and maintain sound working relationships with clients and provide
Excellent Customer Service and a high degree of self-motivation with good time management skills
The ability to generate own sales proposals and presentation slides
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive within a business with demanding clients
Ability to quickly adapt to using new technologies
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet critical client deadlines
Demonstrated initiative, the ability to work under pressure and can work autonomously
Great work ethics and possess a “can do” attitude
Above average level of computer skills and proficient with MS Office package
Flexibility and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
QUALIFICATION
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Engineering or a related field. An MBA or professional certificates will be an added advantage
At least 2 years’ relevant experience in sales and interfacing with all levels of clients.
At least one year experience in a similar position with knowledge of strategic marketing
At least 1 year experience in sales of luxury homes/gadgets will be an added advantage
Proven experience in customer relationship management
