Excellium, one of the leading providers of business software solutions and digital transformation experts, is seeking an experienced Software Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex software implementation projects within and outside Nigeria.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of software implementation methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end software implementation projects, from initiation to post-implementation support.
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress, potential issues, and implement corrective
Possess a strong understanding of software implementation methodologies and best practices.
Configure and customize software solutions to meet specific client requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the implementation process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to clients and stakeholders.
Manage client expectations and address concerns promptly and professionally.
Lead and mentor a team of implementation consultants, providing guidance and support.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Provide ongoing support and training to clients to ensure successful adoption of the software solution.
Monitor system performance and address any issues that arise.
Any other assigned tasks by management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, Economics or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years experience in software implementation consulting
Proven track record of successful project delivery.
Strong technical skills in SQL, Database, troubleshooting, Power BI and Cloud computing
Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel within and outside Nigeria when required.
Experience with ERP systems (Sage, Microsoft, Zoho, etc) is a significant advantage.
