Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled Software Deployment and Support specialist to join our client in the Real Estate Sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with expertise in computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving our ICT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of our ICT infrastructure.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect our ICT systems and data.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure ICT equipment and services.
Develop and maintain documentation of ICT systems and procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Plan and implement ICT projects, upgrades, and migrations.
Conduct periodic audits and assessments of our ICT environment.
Train and mentor staff on ICT best practices and security protocols.
Monitor and enforce compliance with ICT policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are an added advantage.
Proven experience in ICT support and administration.
Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software components.
Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and countermeasures.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
